Weekend

Last Thursday we closed on our lot that we are going to build on. We went the next day and met with our architect to start house plans. We accomplished alot in the first visit. It ended up being about 300 sq ft more than we originally were going for. We also picked out the brick we want to use and pretty much know from the renovation we did on our current house what colors and types of doors, cabinets, floors, and countertops that we want to use. We go back in two weeks to look over the plans and make any changes and I think we have to talk about lighting and electrical stuff.

So things are progressing well with the house. And if we get our plans in 4 weeks like we are supposed to and things go according to plan, we should be in the new house by mid-March of next year.

We had a pretty relaxing weekend, which we needed. We ended up staying with my parents at their house from Thursday evening to Sunday morning.

E's babysitter left last week to start school. So I am currently trying to find someone to keep her on Wednesdays. Until I find someone, my mom will have her. I need to find someone fast, if not we are going to wear my mom out fast! Three days in a row is a lot to ask of her.
